'Conversion case will take a while to solve'
NST Online 2009/04/21
KUALA LUMPUR: It will be quiet a while before a solution is found into the case of the three children who were converted to Islam by their father without their mother's knowledge. "We have identified the issues and discussed them but it will take a while before a solution can be found as it involves several agencies," he said after a meeting with Ministers in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon (Unity) and Maj-Gen (R) Datuk Jamil Khir Baharom (Islamic Affairs).
The trio are members of a committee tasked with finding a solution to the problem.

Ahhh...so!
Estranged father sneakily converts his children. Complaint made by shocked mother to authorities. And Najib's "Performance Now" swings into action!!
1st, form a committee tasked with finding a solution to the problem (high-powered Minister-level dudes, no less!)
2nd, committee meets and identifies the issues (those are secret, don't ask the committee what they are!)
3rd, committee discusses the issues (but not with a view to find a solution - that will take "quiet" a while).
4th, wait for the "several agencies involved" to decide whether they want to admit they did screwed up big time and reverse the decisions they committed to now that the shit's hit the fan - again.
5th, wait for a while for the solution la . . .
You can't beat the "People first" attitude of the committee! I mean, 3 Ministers looking into the case of a nobody rakyat, woh! Where to get!!
As for "Performance now", you can't beat the committee's efficiency in calling for a meeting. The very fact that they mentioned the words "solution" and "problem" in the same sentence displays incredible urgency, compassion and a sense of justice!
"1Malaysia, People first, Performance now" - gua caya sama lu la Najib!
