PETALING JAYA: The extraordinary general meeting (EGM) called by MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat is the best way to resolve the issues faced by the party, say its leaders.
Youth chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong urged all delegates to attend the EGM to “exercise their rights”.

Chua: He is out to confuse delegates
(NST - 1 September 2009)
KUALA LUMPUR: Sacked MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek has poured scorn on the move by his former chief to hold an extraordinary general meeting.
He said president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat's decision showed a lack of consistency in his leadership.
"When I was sacked and there was talk of my supporters having an EGM, the president's supporters criticised and condemned it.
"Now, hardly three days later, Ong decides to have an EGM. His whole motive is to confuse the delegates," he told the New Straits Times yesterday.
