I couldn't believe my eyes when I read this piece of news. At first glance, the headline sounds as if the cops are successfully taking action against looters. But read on to the first line, and you will see just how shocking and disgusting is the Lying CPO's behaviour and lack of professionalism and ethics! Where is the fairness? Where is justice?!

Arrest warrant may be issued by police over alleged Antarabangsa theft

(The Malaysian Insider) Bukit Antarabangsa landslide survivor K. Thanarajah, whose wife Dr N. Yogeswari died in the recent disaster, risks being issued an arrest warrant by the police.

Selangor Police Chief Deputy Comm Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar said this was due to the fact that Thanarajah had not come forward to give a statement claiming that search and rescue personnel were still searching an abandoned bungalow at Bukit Antarabangsa after operations had been stopped.

At a press conference, he announced that he had ordered for a notice to be issued to Thanarajah, under Section 111 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to request for his presence at the police station and provide a statement to what happened in Bukti Anatarabangsa.

He added the police only possessed a picture of a man drying clothes, given by Thanarajah, which did not clarify whatsoever crime was being committed.

Commenting on baseless police reports, Khalid warned against the dangers of unfounded accusations and advised parties involved should come forward to assist in investigations.

“Such claims are bad for the security staff and also the family involved, so we want to get to the truth as fast as we can.”

First, the Lying CPO says there is no evidence of looting, then he says that anyone who says there is looting should make reports otherwise they can't investigate, then he makes the assurance that all reports will be investigated, then when someone does make a report, the Lying CPO turns the tables and issues a warrant of arrest to the one who made the report!!

And this is not any Tom, Dick or Harry outsider who's kicking up a fuss, this is a survivor who lost his home and loved ones! That would qualify him for some form of respectful response from the powers-that-be, don't you think? But no! The Lying CPO has the nerve to dismiss what was submitted as documentary proof of looting as nothing more than a person drying clothes.

HELLO!If a person is making himself at home in one of the bungalows that doesn't belong to him, isn't that trespassing? And if he's helping himself to the home's facilities, isn't it reasonable to at least go and have a look to see if he had helped himself to anything else?

What do you need, Mr Lying CPO? Shall Mr Thanarajah give you video evidence of the guy pocketing goods and carrying it all the way to his home and use it or sell it? Shall Mr Thanarajah also provide you with fingerprints, proof of ownership and other forensic evidence to prove his claim? Hey, Mr Lying CPO, isn't it YOUR job to make sure your boys do THEIR job?

But instead of investigating the claims, the Lying CPO is now threatening to arrest the person who reported the crime! It's bad enough that the Lying CPO defends his looters and the people too lazy to do proper rescue work, now this!

ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!
