PUTRAJAYA: New Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Zambry Abdul Kadir will be heading the BN machinery in the Bukit Gantang parliamentary by-election.

State Barisan Nasional deputy head Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the party leadership had decided that Zambry would take the helm in the polls on April 7.

“The state BN chief Datuk Seri Najib Razak and I will be leaving it entirely to Zambry, and the both of us will just take on advisory roles.

“We do not want a situation of having two captains on a ship,” said Ahmad Zahid, who is also minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in charge of Islamic affairs.

Masa Najib nak curi-curi main dari belakang, tunjuk lagak pemimpin. Dah berjaya kongkek kerajaan negeri, bukan main lagak hero lagi.

Sekarang nak pilihanraya kecik terang-terang, apa hero ni buat?

"Oh...tak nak main daaah...! You kautim ajelah...ya Zam?!"

EH?! Baru 2 minggu berkuasa di Perak, cepat sangat dah nak pi main jauh-jauh? Bukankah ia kebiasaan untuk DPM menerajui kempen-kempen pilihanraya?

Ni mesti ada udang di sebalik batu, BUKAN hanya takut kalah (itu pun mungkin la).

My guess is that the Kedah and Selangor conspiracies are in full swing and he needs to supervise that AND campaign for his cronies in the upcoming UMNO General Assembly. So no time for the Bkt Gantang by-election la. What more guarantee fail punya!!

It wouldn't look good for him to lose a crucial by-election when he's positioning himself as the new Kaiser of Malaysia, kan?
