Sunday, 22 March 2009 (The Malaysian Insider) - Outgoing Umno Youth chief Datuk Hishammuddin Hussein will tempt fate on Wednesday when he reprises the controversial keris act.


Bar Council given final warning

(Bernama) KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 - The Bar Council has been given a final warning to stop discussing the issue of the use of the word "Allah" through a public opinion survey on its website as the action has incurred the wrath of Muslims.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said it was an unwise move by the Bar Council as such a sensitive Islamic issue or of any religion for that matter, should not be put to debate or a public opinion survey.

"If they (Bar Council) continue to play up the issue, the Muslims may rise and if they do, the Bar should not be angry but be willing to accept the consequences.


Dr M says Malays are under threat

Sunday, 22 March 2009 (The Malaysian Insider) - Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad played the race card today, warning the Malays could lose their political power.

The former prime minister told a gathering of more than 1,000 at a rally organised by right wing Malay group Perkasa that the community was under threat from "various parties"


Perkasa warns non-Malays to behave

(The Malaysian Insider) - Malay right-wing group Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa today threatened that it would react to the actions of those who chose to question Malay supremacy.

President Datuk Ibrahim Ali said that for the sake of "the country, race and religion, I am willing to be detained under the Internal Security Act" should Malay rights be challenged.



You always know when it's UMNO/BN election always comes with the unmistakable stink of bullshit in the air!

Suprisingly, that UMNO reject Ibrahim Ali has also has gotten in the act - even though he's got nothing to gain from all this. Just shows how bodoh this fella is la. All mouth, no brains!
